As members of the body of Messiah, we feel compelled to help those who are in need. Our main area of aid is to immigrant families, single mothers and refugees.

Through our assistance, families are able to pay rent, purchase groceries, send their children to school and receive medical care. We rejoice at the opportunity to serve those in our neighborhood and see God’s provision for his nation.

Immigration to Israel is a step of courage and faith, it is a step that takes commitment, obedience and above all sacrifice. It is a great blessing to live out the dream of fulfilling God's promise that he would return his chosen people to their Promised Land. However, sometimes, this dream can become a hard and difficult reality that may seem financially impossible.

For many immigrants finding a job proves difficult and many start at the bottom of the pay scale, which makes it almost impossible to provide the basic necessities of life.  Also finding a place to live where they must pay two to three months rent in advance plus a security deposit, can be burdensome. We have been able to help these families pay school fees for their children, purchase groceries for their families and in some cases pay their utilities.

Single mothers have the double burden of raising a child (or children) and financially providing for the family alone. The Lord has blessed us to be able to help single mothers in providing for their children's needs. Sometimes the help comes in the form of paying their rent, groceries or diapers, sometimes paying school fees and on occasion providing a babysitter.

Over the past few years, Israel has seen a new exodus from Egypt, but this time it is not the people of Israel, but refugees from Sudan. These people have passed through unspeakable atrocities, genocide, mass murders and persecution that challenges our ability to comprehend.

Like many congregations in Israel, we have adopted a number of these dear people. They generally speak only an Arabic dialect and a tribal language, but are eager to learn Hebrew and English. We have been blessed to help in many ways through finding a home, providing Hebrew language tutoring and sending one young man on a scholarship to a Bible College in Nazareth.

Our ministry is a simple three-fold statement: to take the Gospel to the lost, to disciple the believers and to help the needy. Without the generosity of our members and friends around the world, we would not be able to continue helping the needy: immigrants, single mothers, or refugees. Thank you to those who have contributed to these projects. Continue to pray for those who are suffering, and pray for God’s provision through His people to continue this good and faithful work.
