Ghana's leading mobile telephony operator, MTN, says a technical challenge resulting from "a network upgrade malfunction" has resulted in disruption in voice services within Accra, Tema and its environs.

A statement issued by the company and signed by Mrs. Mawuena Trebarh, Corporate Services Executive with MTN's Corporate Services Division noted that the company deeply regrets the inconvenience and apologised to its cherished subscribers, assuring that MTN's technical team was working to fix the malfunction.
